Jesse Spohnholz and Brenna Miller have recieved a Humanities Initiatives at College and Universities grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for 2024-26 to support the History for the 21st Century project! The grant funds the creation, testing, and production of 10 additional modules over 2 years based on our projects core principles: 1) support equity focused world history education, 2) encourage inquiry driven, student-centered, active learning, 3) promote faculty cultures of collaboration and, 4) make teaching materials free and easy-to-use for faculty and students alike!

[Update: This grant was terminated along with most other NEH grants in April 2025 by order of the President. A lawsuit, brought by the American Council of Learn Societies, the American Historical Association, and the Modern Language Association, remains unresolved as of September 2025.]
